I experienced a bug while playing HIVESWAP. How do I report bugs?

Please send us an email by using this form so we can improve the game! In your message, please include the following:

1. The operating system you are playing on

2. Whether you are playing the game on Steam or you downloaded it from the Humble Store

3. A detailed description of the problem you encountered

4. Bonus: if you are able to include a screenshot, even better!

I’m having issues with my screen resolution or display. How do I fix it?

We have released Patch v1.1, which should resolve this problem. Please check that you've downloaded the latest version of the game.

You can also try restarting the game (remember to save first!). This has cleared up the resolution issues for some users. You can also try adjusting your monitor settings.

The game freezes or slows down during cutscenes. How do I fix this?

Make sure your computer meets the minimum requirements for running the game, and update your graphics card drivers. Minimum requirements are:

I am a Hiveswap Kickstarter backer, and I never got my game download key. What do I do?

Kickstarter backers who pledged $15 or more to our campaign are entitled to a download of the game. Humble Bundle was kind enough to send out HIVESWAP download keys to all our backers. If you didn’t get your backer key, we’re sorry about that! There are lots of backers to keep track of and we might have made a mistake. Here are a few things you can do, in this order:

1. First things first: check your spam folder to see if the email was tossed in there accidentally.

2. If you have changed your email address since pledging to our campaign, please try checking the email address you pledged with. It might be your old email account.

3. If neither of those worked, please email us by using this form to let us know we still owe you a download key. Include your original backer email address, as well as your current email address in your message to us. If you can include your backer number, even better!
